When was the last time you spent an entire evening with your neighbors?
When was the last time you allowed your kids to simply be kids and enjoy and evening of playing, creating life-long memories, and developing a foundation for who they will be as they grow up? When was the last time you served those who actually live closest to you?
I actually asking myself all those questions as I sat tonight from this view (see pic) and watch 5+ families from our neighborhood enjoy an outdoor movie night together. The kids (and adults) watched, danced, ate together and ran around playing all night - what a great time!
I'm truly blessed to have fallen in with such great neighbors and in such a great neighborhood. It's a joy to be apart of a street that is actually a community. On behalf of Erin, Olivia, Benjamin, and even little Lucy I declare us this night blessed.
PS - we will have to do this AGAIN and invite tons more people!
