The Harris family is starting a few new Family Christmas Traditions this year that I hope we can carry on for many years into the future.
- This year we made a strand of construction paper with friend's and family's names on them (one for each day until Christmas) - every night during our advent devotional we pray for that brother, sister, grandparent, or neighbor in our life. I really have enjoyed seeing the kids get into it. "Dad, Dad, who are we praying for tonight!!??" - pure parenting joy!
- This year we also are resurrecting an old Harris family tradition of letting the kids pick out each other presents - which they will get to open on Christmas Eve (I always used to buy something I wanted for my brother and vice versa; then we would switch!)
No matter what your Family Christmas traditions are I hope you will make Christmas @ Second a part of that tradition! Visit
