We did a "wedding" with 'dating" vows in our series "Wuv...Twue Wuv." The first week we studied purity of the heart and the second week we looked at how pointless dating is in JHigh. After the service we had cake and punch to celebrate the "wedding." Great series as we saw God challenge us on how we can be pure of heart and how that carries over into our relationships. Jason Mick did a great job leading our JHigh students to understand the roots of relationships over these 2 weeks! You can also see the video of the "mock" wedding posted on my facebook wall.
Jonathan Gray, our HS pastor, has walked our HS Students through King Josiah's story over the last 2 weeks in a series called "Set it on Fire." The challenge was just as young King Josiah set aside those things in his kingdom that did not honor God and placed God's Word as primary we too should "sat on fire" those things that don't honor God in our lives and watch what God does as we fully sell out to HIM!
