If you didn't know, they call Austin, Tx the "bat city" among other things - I've lived here over 3 years and just found out. Well, this weekend I had the pleasure of seeing what the whole bat thing was all about. My parents visited along with Holly, my sister, and James, my brother. By simply taking in the city and being a part of the thousands (literally) who come out every night to watch the bats under the bridge (a very "weird" experience I might add) reminds me of the simple beauties of this city. God has blessed me and my family in so may ways here in Austin, and it's a privilege to do HIS work here.
